(Original Sept 1 2005)
I filed my "Order To Show Cause" yesterday morning after my crack-of-dawn shift at Starb's. I filed it downstairs then had to wait in the judge's courtroom (admist other proceedings) until it was sent up. I quite soundly napped in the courtroom, I'll admit to you right now. It seemed that at this stage there was a chance the OSC could have been denied, if I eavesdropped correctly on another woman's case, and I would not be given a chance in court to plead my case futher. But mine was not. I was given another court date to appear on Sept 12th to try my Order. At that time, I definitely know it can be denied if the landlord's lawyer rejects it, or if the judge does.
But.
I will be finished with RE school by then and will be taking the test later that same day. I will be taking the State exam the following day. I will be working for my new brokerage the day after that. I plan to be making money the following week. By October, I will have paid off all my rent. By December, I will have paid back all my friends. By next September I will be married and have 2.5 kids. By the time I'm a 45 year old man, this two year period of poverty will have become a Learning Experience. Then I will drive my antigrav car from the roofdeck of my Trump Plaza penthouse and head off for my summer vacation home on Blue Mars.

Alan -
2.5 kids by next September isn't going to work out. Even if you adopt the process is slower than that.
Just thought you might like to know.
Everything else in your plan will work fine though.
