Sweet Bliss

This is where I'll be Fri-Sun. I'm checking out of reality for a little bit (more). I'll be making my appointment today for a prescription to help with social anxiety.
But if I see a girl wearing this (saw it in a La Brea store window on Broadway)

then meds or not, I'm approaching her.
Nah, probably not. I need my meds.

Have fun!

And why is Spiderman so much shorter than that other guy?

Well Iron Man is really a suit of armor encasing a normal-sized man, so it does tend to be bigger than the average friendly neighborhood Spiderma--

Oh.

That's what Match Girl-I was worried about wasn't it?

Match Girl I was too wrapped up in the what-ifs to get around to looking at the what-do-i-have-heres. Seriously, Alan, look at the folks you see at comicon and yes, you may see a gender bias, but it won't be as profound as you are worried about.

You'll see. I am told we have to love ourselves before anyone else will. I am told this.

Holz, you can't just come by, love the commercial for a comicbook convention, give me smoochies and then leave! Tell me what's really good.

Ned, I'm going to run a tally of the geek friends I have, which will include the ones at the comic con, and figure out the percentage of the ones that are married. At first blush, I can say already that it is astoundingly high. They do what you've heard. They love themselves and their geekness. I promise, I love my own geekness too. I promise you that I do.

okey doke Alan

#1 you have a great wirting style that pulls the reader in and makes them want to hear more. Your commentary has a validity and humor that shine.
#2 Your inserts are offbeat, interesting, and unexpected all of which = fun to read.
#3 your site is fairly easy to navigate and not hard on the eyes.

How's that?

Holz, sorry I got ridiculously urban. "What's really good" is a new way of saying "How are you and how're you doing?"

But, thank you. Honestly, I just appreciate you stopping by and saying anything at all. :-))

So, without the benefit of you having a link for me to chase down your details--how are you? Who are you? And if we were face to face, would I be comfortable getting your smoochies? :-D
